Fixed Deposits

TRUSTCO announces the introduction of our Certificate of Deposit Account.  Attractive interest rate.  Minimum deposit of $250,000 for two (2) years

To apply, you just have to come in with a valid form of identification (identification card or passport).

SIS Accounts

Our minimum balance for Savings accounts are as low as $1,000.  To obtain interest, the balance on the account must be $3,000.  Interest is calculated on the minimum quarterly balance and credited half yearly.

Withholding Tax

The interest received on our deposit accounts is subject to withholding tax of 20%.  This is deducted by the Trust and paid to the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), unless there is an exemption.  Exemptions are only granted to pensioners in which case an Exempt from Withholding Tax Certificate is produced to the Trust by the pensioner from the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA).
